Description
Pennyroyal is also known as European Pennyroyal, Mosquito Plant, Hillwort, and Pudding Grass. While pennyroyal was traditionally used in ancient Greece and Rome as a culinary herb, it naturally contains organic compounds that are highly toxic to the liver and should not be used internally. The toxicity of these organic compounds have spurred its use to kill insects, especially fleas.
